CHICAGO, December 13, 2004 – Monte Mann and Courtney Tedrowe, on behalf of Jet Support Services, Inc. (“JSSI”), beat back a multimillion dollar claim asserted by French company Trans Helicoptere Service (“THS”). On December 13, 2004, U.S. District Court Judge Der-Yeghiayan granted summary judgment for JSSI based on the doctrine of res judicata. The Court held that THS had failed to assert its claims in prior litigation between the same parties. As a result, THS was estopped from pursuing the claims against JSSI in the subsequent litigation.
