Drury, Werries Collier and Schwartz Promoted to Of Counsel

Novack and Macey LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Shelby L. Drury, Kristen Werries Collier and Alison T. Schwartz to Of Counsel.
Shelby represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters including shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, employment discrimination, consumer and common law fraud, breach of contract and tort claims. She is experienced in directing case strategy and handling all aspects of litigation, including preparing and arguing dispositive motions, negotiating settlements, working with experts and taking and defending depositions. Shelby was a summer associate at Novack and Macey in 1997 and joined the Firm as an associate in 1998 after graduating from Northwestern University School of Law.
Kristen represents clients in a variety of complex commercial business disputes invloving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tort violations, energy, partnership and corporate law. Kristen practices in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings nationwide. She is experienced in analyzing and setting case strategy, briefing and arguing dispositive and discovery motions, managing large-scale document productions and reviews, and taking and defending depositions. Kristen joined Novack and Macey directly after she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1999.
Alison represents a variey of clients, including privately owned family businesses, real estate developers and brokers, manufacturers, energy companies, publicly-held companies and individuals. She is experienced in matters concerning fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, director and officer liability, products liability, commercial breach of contract, and agency liability, among others. Alison is a 1999 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law. After graduating, Alison was an associate at Jenner & Block before she joined Novack and Macey in 2000.
Shelby, Kristen and Alison each have nearly ten years of litigation experience, the vast majority of which has been at Novack and Macey. This promotion recognizes their years of service to the Firm and its clients, and we look forward to their continued contributions in the years to come.
