BIOGRAPHY
Alison practices complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings. She has represented clients in actions involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tort violations, partnership disputes, products liability, real estate disputes, legal malpractice defense, and director and officer liability. Alison handles all aspects of litigation, including developing case strategies, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, trial preparation, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions and negotiating settlements.
In her community, Alison participates in fundraising and other activities for the benefit of the James G. Blaine Elementary School, the local public school in her neighborhood. Alison also is a supporter of A Safe Haven, a Chicago organization that serves families and individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction or other life crises.
Alison has been practicing at Novack and Macey since 2000. Before joining the firm, Alison was an associate at Jenner & Block. In 1997, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Ruben Castillo in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
