Joshua Liebman concentrates his practice in civil litigation with an emphasis on complex commercial matters and professional negligence defense. He has represented insurers defending professional misconduct claims brought against attorneys and insurance brokers. Joshua has also represented clients in lawsuits involving breach of contract, breach of warranty and trade secret misappropriation.
Joshua has been involved in all stages of litigation. He has successfully briefed and argued summary judgment motions in state and federal court. He has deposed key fact and expert witnesses. Joshua has prepared cases for trial and has participated in formal mediation proceedings. While attending law school, Joshua was the Research Editor of the Loyola University Law Journal and was named best respondent in the 2003 Niagara International Moot Court Competition.
Joshua is a member of the Chicago Bar Association , the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He came to Novack and Macey in 2007 after beginning his career with Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP.
